Service Engine Soon:
When the ignition is first turned to the on position, the service engine soon indication light illuminates to check the bulb and to show whether the car is prepared for inspection/maintenance (I/M) testing. If there are no problems, the service engine soon light will often stay on until the engine is started and then turn itself off. The vehicle is not prepared for I/M testing, however, if the service engine soon light blinks eight times after 15 seconds.
After the engine is started, solid illumination means an issue has been found by the On Board Diagnostics System (OBD-II).
WARNING: Under engine misfire conditions, excessive exhaust temperatures could damage the catalytic converter, the fuel system, interior floor coverings or other vehicle components, possibly causing a fire.
Brake System Warning Light:
When the ignition is turned to the on position when the engine is not running, in a position between on and start, or by pressing the parking brake while the ignition is turned to the on position, the braking system warning light will momentarily illuminate to confirm it is functional.
Consult your authorized dealer right away for service if the brake system warning light is not on at this time. A braking system malfunction or low brake fluid level indicated by illumination after releasing the parking brake requires prompt inspection by your authorized dealer.
WARNING: Driving a vehicle with the brake system warning light on is dangerous. A significant decrease in braking performance may occur. It will take you longer to stop the vehicle. Have the vehicle checked by your authorized dealer. Driving extended distances with the parking brake engaged can cause brake failure and the risk of personal injury
Anti-Lock Brake System:
You should have the system checked out right away by your authorized dealer if the ABS light remains lighted or keeps flashing. Unless the brake warning light is also on, normal braking is still functional.
Charging System:
When the battery is not charging properly, it illuminates. If it continues to illuminate while the engine is running, the charging system might be acting up. As soon as you can, get in touch with your approved dealer. This suggests that there is an issue with the electrical system or a connected component.
Engine Oil Pressure:
