World’s safest car brand? : Mega to small automotive industries continuously claiming their product is the safest on the road against similar competitors but might not be true in reality.

According to the report of CNN and insurance institutes concluded that some vehicles are more safe then the rest ones.

Analysis based on 2012 to 2015 year total accidents including major injuries and death, in this report it is also shows of the total worst cars in terms of car crash with serious injuries and death.

These are the safest vehicles in the world.

  • Audi Q7 SUV
  • Volkswagen (VLKAF) Tiguan two-wheel-drive SUV
  • Toyota Tacoma Double Cab long bed four-wheel-drive pickup
  • Mazda CX-9 two-wheel-drive SUV
  • Audi A6 all-wheel-drive
  • Jeep Cherokee all-wheel-drive SUV
  • BMW 535 i and is
  • BMW 535xi
  • Lexus RX 350 two-wheel-drive SUV
  • Lexus CT 200h
  • Mercedes-Benz M-class SUV (called GLE-class in its current version)

World’s safest car brand? These listed cars in which most of the SUVs recorded not a single fatality in a four year period.

Data taken from insurance institute (Highway safety looks) and from federal government auto data fatality 2012 to 2015.

High fatality rate cases registered against vehicles are (worst).

  • Hyundai Accent,
  • Kia Rio
  • Toyota’s Scion Tc

However Hyundai redesigned the accent in 2012 and the death rate dropped significantly but still lacks major changes to be able to prevent major accidents, similarly Kia also redesigned the Kia Rio to get it safer than its predecessor’s model but this model also lack major improvements, Toyota shutdown the Scion Tc and focus other models safety and protection.

The Insurance Institute concluded that full-size luxury SUVS are the safest vehicles on the road. On average, there were just six deaths per million registered vehicle years in big luxury SUVs. Compare that to 87 for the average four-door subcompact car.
