Hybrid automobiles will undoubtedly become more popular in the next years. The world is now waking up to the threat of climate change, but it is likely too little, too late. While EVs may be superior in the long run, hybrids can help reduce emissions and make the world a cleaner place. Honda is one corporation that knows a thing or two about hybrids, as seen by their F1 effort and the latest generation NSX. However, the Honda Insight was the company's first hybrid, and it was introduced in 1997. The Insight was a radical-looking automobile with a 1.0-liter ECA1 I3 engine, and it was the brand's first hybrid car, as well as the first hybrid to be available in North America.
