Following the introduction of the Honda e, the Japanese automaker is preparing to introduce new electric vehicle models. Honda is rumored to be launching two new electric SUVs in United States 2024, and these vehicles will most likely be larger than the Honda e, a compact electric city car. Dave Gardner, American Honda Motor Co. Inc.'s Senior Vice President, National Operations and Executive Vice President and General Manager of Car Sales Gardner is primarily in charge of Honda's national operations in the United States of America. According to Engadget, Garner said in a statement that more specifics about the upcoming electric SUVs will be announced later this year. He also claimed that hybrid versions of famous Honda models will be released in the near future. However, the company has not given any additional details in this regard. Honda Insight and Honda Clarity are two models currently available in the American market, both of which have hybrid variants. Aside from that, Honda is currently selling hybrid versions of its famous CR-V and Accord models. The United States of America is a potential market for Electric Vehicles and Honda is seizing the opportunity. Although, under the leadership of President Joe Biden, the USA is bringing back its tougher emission standards, as mentioned in a report by Engadget. This means that Honda will really have to keep its overall emissions in check by introducing its Electric Vehicles in the market. The Japanese company is pushing for electric cars and America is supporting it. Mercedes-Benz unveils redesigned larger body type C-Class, advanced protection Competition is another part of bringing newer and better EVs to the American industry. Other industry players, such as General Motors and Ford, are putting in the effort and launching their own Electric Vehicles. If Honda does not keep up with the other dominant market players in terms of technology and product, it will be in jeopardy. According to market analysts, electric vehicles are the future of the car industry, and if Honda continues to rely on fuel combustion technology rather than effectively progressing in electric vehicle technology, the Japanese company will face a challenge, to the point where it will be unable to maintain its business. The Honda e is currently available in Japan and Europe, and it is said to be based on the Urban EV model that debuted at the 2017 Frankfurt International Motor Show.
