Automobili Lamborghini is the first to use Amazon Alexa for robust in-car access. From the beginning of 2021, Automobili Lamborghini will improve the connected services offering in its Hurac\u00e1n EVO models, which will include navigation, convenience, safety, and entertainment features. Via a connection to the Lamborghini UNICA app, Lamborghini Connect adds new \u2018peace of mind' features, such as a car-finder feature, vehicle status report, and geofencing functions like remote speed and valet warnings, to the existing in-car connected services related to Navigation and Entertainment. The Lamborghini Infotainment System (LIS) can now be updated remotely through the internet. Lamborghini is the first car company to use Amazon Alexa for robust in-car control. On Hurac\u00e1n EVO 2021 models equipped with the \u2018Smartphone Interface and Connected Services' choice, Alexa and Android Auto will join Web radio and Apple CarPlay, which are already available on the EVO. Nissan Leafs are still the most popular used electric car With a simple \u2018Alexa' voice order, drivers of the Hurac\u00e1n EVO can monitor in-car functions such as climate, lighting, and seat heating, as well as navigation, phone calls, and entertainment, allowing them to concentrate on the route. Alexa is even integrated within the LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system in the four-wheel drive Hurac\u00e1n EVO. A simple voice command accesses real-time feedback on the Hurac\u00e1n EVO\u2019s driving dynamics via the LIS screen, such as torque vectoring, Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS), and traction control. The Alexa function also allows Lamborghini owners to connect with other Alexa-enabled devices: with a voice command, drivers can control entry gates to home thermostats and lighting systems, directly from their Lamborghini. Lamborghini Connected makes it easy to update all Alexa functionality over time through periodic Over The Air software updates. The feature is available in most of Europe and North America where Alexa is available, with further markets from 2022. Existing Hurac\u00e1n EVO owners can take advantage of enhanced connected services as well: starting in mid-April, all Lamborghini Connected features, as well as optional updates, can be retrofitted to Hurac\u00e1n EVO models free of charge at registered Lamborghini dealers. All connected features are limited to what is available in specific markets. The strategic partnership between Automobili Lamborghini and Amazon will allow for continuous updates to Alexa's functionality within Lamborghini models, with both companies collaborating on new connectivity technologies and integrations.
